Mike Greene

Thomas Suczek has composed and played piano and keyboards running the gamut from rock, classical, avant garde, fusion-smooth jazz, punk-new wave, blues, r&b, to straight-ahead jazz and easy listening sipping and dining piano standards. He has been in groups with names such as The Who Knows, Phylum Porfira, Plant Kingdom, Bay 6, Sunsmoke, Nuance, Now!, The Numbers, Surface Music, and Point of Departure. He has performed or recorded with Martha Reeves, Bob McGrath's Sesame Street Show, David Benoit, Carlos Reyes, Abraxas: Greg Rolie, Neal Schon, Michael Carabello, Mike Shrieve, Alphonso Johnson. He has opened shows for B.B. King, Marian McPartland, Simple Minds, Bill Bruford, Robert Fripp, Dave Brubeck, Steve Smith's Vital Information, Parliament/Funkadelic, and Sammy Hagar, keyboarding for Gamma at the Ronnie Montrose Memorial Concert at the Regency Ballrom in San Francisco. He is especially thrilled to have played at the Concord Jazz Festival, and the Fillmore Auditorium. Suczek currently plays keyboards in the Bay Area with The Fundamentals, as well as Ivory Coast singer and world music songstress Fely Tchaco, and master wine maker cum laude rocker, Robert Foley. He accompanies and plays solo piano at venues throughout the Bay Area, most regularly at the Gold Coast Grill on Park Street in Alameda, California. He teaches piano and keys in Pleasant Hill, California.
